本研究の目的は、生徒・学生が地域にいながらその発達段階に応じて1)職業観・勤労観、2)技術者倫理観・環境倫理観、3)共同作業をするためのコミュニケーション能力を育むことができる地域連携キャリア教育システムを開発するための調査である。平成18年度は以下の通り実施した。(1)大学生に対するキャリア支援体制についての調査金沢工業大学におけるキャリア支援体制について調査し、本研究で企画しているキャリア教育システムの展開の規模を検討した。求人情報からその会社の情報を得るには限界があることが分かった。また、インターネット上の就職活動サイトはある程度自分のキャリアデザインができている者でないとその活用が難しいことが分かった。(2)キャリア教育支援システムの構築就職を希望する生徒・学生と求人を募集する企業とがWeb上で情報交換しながら、生徒・学生が自らの就きたい職業を見つけていくシステムを構築した。ある程度の匿名性を保ちながら公開を原則として運用できるようになっている。インターネットの特性を生かし,地方の大学生が別の地方の企業と情報交換する場合に効果を発揮するシステムである。そのため,本システムの運用は地域に密着した潜在求人の発掘に効果が期待される。また、やりたい仕事と希望している会社とが一致しない場合に早期退職者が発生するが、本システムの運用はこのような事態を回避することに貢献するものと思われる。
