・大正蔵を中心とする仏典と関連する学術情報とのリンク付けを行うための、仏教学研究において要請される条件を反映させた枠組みを構築し、これを実現するためのコラボレーションシステムを試作し、2008年6月、国際会議Digital Humanities 2008において発表した。現在は、発表の際のコメントに基づき、公開準備中である。・上記の公開準備の一環として、専門的知識を持つ若手研究者に依頼し、外字の精査を行った。また、この作業は漢字にコードを割り当てていくという作業の性質上、部分的には21世紀COE「次世代ユビキタス情報社会基盤の形成」との協力によって行った。・研究協力者・チャールズ・ミュラー教授のDDB (Digital Dictionary of Buddhism), 研究協力者・落合俊典教授の「奈良平安古写経データベース」ならびに仏教伝道協会の英訳大蔵経の作業BDK Tripitake Translation Series)との連携のための基礎作業として、日本印度学仏教学会の論文データベースであるINBUDSとDDBとの連携システムを構築し、試験公開を開始した。・次世代人文学開発センターデータベース拠点として、人文系データベースをテーマとしたワークショップを2回開催し、また、ALLCとの共催により、ヨーロッパより2名の講師を招聘し国際ワークショップを開催した。・次世代大蔵経の編集とその準備に向けて関係主要諸学会からなる国内の委員会組織を立ち上げる準備を進めている。
