Genetic control of experimental autoimune uveitis in the mouse

以克雷伯氏菌脂多糖（K 03 LPS）为佐剂，用S抗原或光感受器间类维生素A结合蛋白（IRBP）增强免疫（2-4次，间隔2-4周），建立小鼠实验性自身免疫性葡萄膜炎（EAU）模型。在几株B10中检测EAU的发生率。BR，B10。A，B10。MBR，B10。A（4 R）对S抗原诱导的EAU和IRBP诱导的EAU均具有高应答。另一方面，B10。A（5 R）对S抗原诱导的EAU无应答，对IRBP诱导的EAU低应答。因此，这些数据表明，小鼠对EAU的易感性受到免疫应答基因（H-2）的限制，特别是受到1-Ak的限制。AKR/J对EAU的易感性很低，尽管H-2单倍型与B10相同。BR.因此，非MHC基因在EAU中也起一定的作用。

A model of experimental autoimmune uveitis(EAU)in the mouse was established by an enhanced immunization(2-4 times injection at an interval of 2-4 weeks)with S-antigen or interphotoreceptor retinoid binding protein(IRBP)using Krebsielia lipopolysaccharide(K03 LPS)as an adjuvant. The incidence of EAU was tested in several strains of B10. BR, B10. A, B10. MBR, B10. A(4R)were found to be high responders to S-antigen-induced EAU as well as to IRBP-induced EAU. On the other hand, B10. A(5R)was non-responder to S-antigen-induced EAU and low-responder to IRBP-induced EAU. These data thus indicate that the susceptibilty to EAU in the mouse was restricted by the immune response genes(H-2), particulady by 1-A^k. The susceptibility to EAU in AKR/J was very low, although H-2 haplotype ws identical to B10. BR. Therefore, it is suggested that non-MHC genes also plays some minor role in EAU.
