(1) Many international researches on teachers are interested in Teacher Development, especially In-Service Education of Teachers. They find that school improvement develop teachers. In the vewpoint of teacher development, Japanese teachers have some tasks such as collegiality, teachers as researchers, loose system of the school, snd study on teacher education.(2) In-Service Education of Teachers in Japan is basically based on school-focused method both inside and outside schools. School-based in-service education inside schools needs Organizational Learning which develop teachers.(3) Life histories of teachers tell that teachers can change their attitude and value by learning organizational culture of the good school where they have taught.(4) I will publish a book titled by 'Teacher Education in a Changing Society' that contains results above mentioned.

(1)国际上许多关于教师的研究都关注教师发展，尤其是教师在职教育。他们发现学校的改进能培养教师。从教师发展的角度来看，日本教师面临着集体合作、教师作为研究者、学校制度松散、教师教育研究等问题。(2)日本的教师在职教育，无论是校内还是校外，基本上都是以学校为中心的教育方式。校内校本在职教育需要组织学习来发展教师。(3)教师的生活史告诉我们，教师可以通过学习他们所任教的好学校的组织文化来改变他们的态度和价值观。(4)我将出版一本名为《变化社会中的教师教育》的书，其中包含上述结果。
