Empirical and theoretical Research on Interorganizational Coordination

日本的大多数科技园都以开发技术和培育新企业为目标。为了帮助创业，孵化器既需要了解什么是创意活动，也需要协调具有不同目标和利益的各种组织。我研究了孵化器如何扮演两个角色，以及其他组织如何帮助他们。结果，我得到了以下两点发现：第一，大多数孵化器没有为新创企业提供咨询和培训的能力。此外，他们对创业行为和自主学习没有了解，也没有收集有关创业行为的信息或数据。其次，所有孵化器都为创业者提供了见面和了解的机会。但在我看来，他们并不是一个可以坦诚交谈、合作发现问题并解决问题的场所。如果没有生活在同一地区的当地人的合作，这些困难很难解决。

Most science parks in Japan have aims of developing technology as well as nursing new ventures. For assisting start-up of new ventures, it is necessary for incubators both to know what creative activities consist of and coordinate various organizations with different objectives and interests.I have done research on how incubators playd two roles and how other organizations assisted them. As a result, I got two following findings : firstly, most incubators did not have abilities of consulting new ventures and giving them training course. In addition, they did not have knowledge of entrepreneurial behaviors and learning by themselves, and collect information or data about them. Secondly, all incubators offered entrepreneurs opportunities of meeting and knowing one another. But it seems to me that they were not settings where they can talk frankly, cooperate to find problems and solve them.It is hard to solve these difficulties without cooperation of local people living in the same region.
