The Water Transportation on the sea, river and the lake has made a development at Edo era in Japan. The aim of this study is to inquire into the combination with sea transportation and river, lake transportion.I investigated a historical materials, pictures, papers and so on, in Kanto district, particularly at Chiba prefecture and Ibaraki prefecture. I took a microfilm of INO-ke-MONJO which has been belonging to the commemoration of INO Tdataka, and NARAYA-MONJO which has been in the Otone Museum.The other side, I researched into the book on history about a prefecture, city, town and village. As a result, I made clear the interchange of people and goods by the seaside at Japanese Ocean.
