英文摘要
The X-poly (GVGVP), THE gamma-irradiation cross-linded elastomeric materials based on the repeating pentapeptide sequence Gly-Val-Gly-Pro (GVGVP) and X-Poly [a (GVGVP), b (GRGDSP)] containing the covalently incorporated cell-adhesion and platelet-aggregation-inhibition sequence Arg-Gly-Asp-Ser (GRDS) were synthesized in 1993. In 1994 these materials were tested for their ability to support the adhesion and growth of bovine aortic endothelial cells. Adhesion experiments carried out for 3h in albumin-containing media showed that materials containing, 1 : 0.017,1 : 0.025, and 1 : 0.05 ratios of (GVGVP) : (GRGDSP) supported maximal cell attachment, that the material containing 1 : 0.01 ratio of (GVGVP) : (GRGDSP) exhibited as intermediate level of attachment and that the material composed of 1 : 0.002 ratio of (GVGVP) : (GRGDSP) and (GVGVP) alone were very poor supports for cell attachment. Cell growth experiments cerried out for 24h insame media showed that materials containing 1 : 0.017,1 : 0.025, and 1 : 0.05 ratios of (GVGVP) : (GRGDSP) supported three population doublings of endotherials cell and material composed of (GVGVP) alone was poor support for cell growth.
