以下に述べるように、本研究の目的は基本的に達成されたと考える。研究の目的は、(準)射影空間の準安定並びに安定ホモトピー群を決定することであった。複素射影空間CP^<^>{n}の安定ホモトピー群π^<^>{S}_-{k}(CP^<^>{n})については、20 k 23のとき、決定した。この結果は、現在、岡山大学数学雑誌に投稿中であり、受理されることを確信している。次に、M^<^>{n}=Σ^<^>{n-2}RP^<^>{2}をMoore空間とする。M^<^>{12}からM^<^>{5}への非安定なAdams mapの存在については、岡七郎が証明したが、この別証明を与えた。相対ホモトピー群におけるTodaの積を使用した点に独創性があると考える。この結果は、チューリッヒで開催された国際数学者会議で、Poster Sessionで公開した。その後、長崎大学でのホモトピー論シンポジュームで講演した。研究分担者の阿部は、本研究課題を微分位相幾何学的、微分幾何学的観点から研究を進め、多様体上の可微分ベクトル場のなすリー環を含む括弧積をもつalgebraに対するuniversal mapping propertyをもつalgebraを構成し、ベクトル束が積分可能となる条件などを求めることに成功した。二宮は、群の表現論的側面から研究し、素数pを標数にもつ体k上の群多元環の根基のベキ零指数を決定した。可知は、H-空間の積の可換性を研究し、論文成果につながる口頭での発表を行った。西川は、Hoph代数の研究を進めたが、成果をうるには至らなかったが、今後の進展が期待される。
