项目摘要

本研究は京都学派の植民地朝鮮への影響を明らかにするため、京都帝国大学哲学科で学んだ朝鮮人留学生に注目し、彼らがどのような環境で修学していたか、またそれがその後の思想活動にどのような影響を及ぼしたかについて考察を試みるものである。令和4（2022）年度は、まず、朝鮮人留学生が京都帝国大学哲学科出身の朝鮮人留学生の修学環境について資料調査を行った。京都帝国大学哲学科関係資料を手掛かりに全数調査を行い、留学生の同窓会関係資料や回想録などから修学環境について考察することができた。また、これまで比較的に多く言及されてきた朝鮮語学者・教育哲学者崔鉉培の活動に焦点を当て、彼が京都帝国大学で具体的にどのような知的経験を得ていたかを究明すべく、履修した講義題目や内容を実証的に再構成し、留学時代に執筆された『朝鮮民族更生の道』における哲学内容を中心に彼の初期思想にどのように影響していたのかについて分析作業を行った。その成果の一部は、日本韓国研究会第5回研究例会にて報告を行った。これは、哲学者としての崔鉉培像を京都帝国大学哲学科という場に注目して明らかにする初の試みだといえる。今後、韓国での資料調査を踏まえて、論文執筆につなげていく予定である。なお、初年度に予定していた韓国・ソウルでの資料調査は以前から続くコロナ禍の影響等により実施できなかったが、取り寄せが可能な資料を中心に収集・整理・分析を行った。また、新たに入手した京都帝国大学時代の崔鉉培に関する資料を収集・整理・分析し、京都学派思想と崔鉉培思想の関連性について深く考察するための基礎作業ができた。
