本年度は、本研究の倫理審査申請前に地域の関連団体・機関への研究計画の説明、協力依頼（主に研究対象者への研究内容の周知とリクルート）、役割調整を行った。その際、関連団体・機関からの意見を参考に、リクルート方法とデータ収集法を変更した。リクルートについては、近隣地域の関連団体・機関に幅広く協力を依頼することとし、データ収集は老老介護世帯（夫婦）の時間的負担を減らす評価ツールに修正した。その後、倫理審査を申請し承認を得た。関連団体・機関との連絡や調整は、地域参加型研究では重要な役割を担う。特にデータ分析後に、その結果をもとに関連団体・機関と老老介護夫婦に必要な支援を考える際に、それまでに築いた関係が影響することが予測される。そのため、倫理審査の申請は遅れたが、研究開始にあたり関連団体・機関との関係構築に重点を置いた。また、老老介護に関するスコーピングレビューを実施した。先行研究では、高齢介護者の多くは、重度の精神的ストレス、過度の精神的・身体的介護負担、長期的な睡眠不足を経験しており、このような状況は鬱病のリスクや幸福感の低下につながることが報告されている。特に認知症高齢者を介護している高齢者は、介護による健康や幸福感への悪影響のリスクが高いことが示唆されている。高齢介護者の介護経験を改善させるためには、介護者自身のセルフケアマネジメント（例：不調や疲れに気づいて対処する）と介護で直面する問題を解決する能力の獲得や向上（例：資源を利用する、悩みを相談する）が重要であることがわかっている。このスコーピングレビューの結果を、2年目に予定している半構造化インタビューの質問に反映させ、高齢介護者の経験をより深く理解できるように努める。また、スコーピングレビューの結果を質的・量的データを総合的に分析する際の枠組みとして用いる予定である。
