项目摘要

本研究は、理系の大学・大学院卒業者の女性のキャリア形成に関わる実証分析を行い、キャリア支援の課題を抽出することを目的に実施した。採択後に、既存研究のサーベイおよび入手可能な個票データの基本分析を行い、２本の論文を執筆した。１本は、前段階の研究を国内の研究会で報告、改定したものを国際学会で２度の報告を行い、現在投稿に向けて改定中である。もう１本はすでに国内の査読誌に掲載されている。今回の研究成果を基に、より発展的な研究計画は、基盤Ｃに採択され、引き続き研究を実施する予定である。今年度中に得られた研究成果の概要を以下にまとめる。①理系の学士を取得した女性の大学院への進学および就職後の職業マッチングは、同学位を取得した男性と比較して優位な状況ではない。しかしながら、文系（社会科学および人文科学）の女性と比較した場合、職業マッチングを制御すれば、理系の学位は賃金に対して有意に正の効果が認められる。②学部・大学院の在学中に経験するインターンシッププログラムについては、プログラムを経験した男性と比較して、女性のキャリア形成に関わるプラスの効果が検証できない。民間企業における女性研究者の比率は、依然低い水準を推移している。今後の研究では、学部から大学院進学を含めた進路選択および卒業後のライフイベントを通じた女性のキャリア形成の現状をより精緻に把握したい。
