Elucidation of mechanism of nonlinear viscoelasticity in polymer condensed systemIn polymer condensed system, intermolecular entanglements are formed due to topological interaction. Nonlinear viscoelasticity in polymer condensed system has been found to be due to disentanglement in chain equilibration process and irreversible change in entanglement network.2.Elucidation of mechanism of nonlinear viscoelasticity in nanofiller/organic compositesWe have found that nonlinear viscoelasticity in nanofiller/organic composites is based on rupture and recovery in nanofiller network from the concurrent measurements of stress relaxation and electric conductivity.3.Evaluation of modulus of bound rubber in nanofiller/organic compositesWe have developed a novel method for evaluation of modulus of bound rubber in nanofiller/organic composites using acoustic techniques, scanning acoustic microscopy and longitudinal wave velocitometry.
