项目摘要

アジアの都市における「小さな社会的な場」の生態を環境心理学の視点から探る本研究の2年度においては以下の活動を行った。1)第2期現地調査(調査実施期間:平成13年9月〜平成14年3月)日本人研究グループによるハノイ市現地調査(平成13年3月13-22日)、台中市現地調査(平成13年9月25〜10月11日))、および台湾チームによる福岡市現地調査(平成14年1月27日〜2月3日)を実施した。各都市において昨年度の調査をさらに体系化するべく、商店街形態の異なる街路をサンプリングし、既設店舗と仮設店舗との環境構成のデザインサーベイと人々の滞留・滞在・流動のパタンを記録した。また、屋台の規制などに関するヒアリングを市役所、商店組合などで行った。2)滞留パタンとソシオ・トープに関する分析(分析期間:平成13年11月〜平成14年3月)第2期現地調査によって収集されたデータを、次の観点から分析した。(1)街路における人の流れの時系列的変化(2)街路上での人々の「居方」と密度形態の分析(3)露店に関する各都市の法的規制および運用の実態(4)公共空間の占有の形態に関する分析3)福岡市内における商店街と大学内カフェでの対人交流の分析小さな社会的な場が発生する機序を明らかにするために、福岡市内の箱崎商店街において長期的フィールドワークを実施した。また、ソシオトープを支える環境のあり方を検証するために、九州大学内において学生によって運営されるオープンカフェを開設し、そこをフィールドとした長期の参加観察を行った。

The ecological and environmental psychology perspectives of urban development and social development are explored.
