The focus in this study is the mode of physical activity to pursue for physically children with disabilities. The physical education program in a school for children with disabilities is important. First, we conducted a nationwide survey questionnaire on sports in schools for children with disabilities to investigate the contents of physical education programs. The results showed that at many schools the instructor arranged the content on his or her in terms of the students. However, in recent years, with more children suffering from severe handicaps, group sport is not always possible, and the appropriate physical content cannot be provided. This poses a problem for instructors, and the fact that they are few is also a matter of concern. Next, dance classes were introduced for 3 years, with instructors and dance professionals joining hands to work out class contents. This meant instructors could obtain both information and skills. Dancing is fun for children with severe handicaps, and the program has proved successful.

本研究的重点是身体残障儿童所追求的身体活动模式。残疾儿童学校的体育课程很重要。首先，我们在全国范围内对残疾儿童学校的体育进行了问卷调查，以了解体育课程的内容。结果表明，在许多学校，教师根据学生的情况安排教学内容。然而，近年来，由于有更多的儿童患有严重残疾，团体运动并不总是可能的，也不能提供适当的体育内容。这给教师带来了问题，教师人数少也是一个令人关切的问题。接下来，舞蹈班开设了三年，由教师和舞蹈专业人士共同制定课程内容。也就是说，导师可以同时获得信息和技能。舞蹈对严重残疾的孩子来说很有趣，这个项目已经证明是成功的。
