项目摘要

The objective of this study is to clarify the present condition and attributes of the learning assessments which correspond to each theory of Home Economics learning, and to identify the challenges in order to consider ideas for solving the problems of 'learning assessment of school children' within Home Economics in Japan. This was conducted by reviewing studies of learning assessments within modern American Home Economics and analyzing them. The outline is as follows:1.Models for academic abilities corresponding to the philosophy of Home Economics were made by reviewing earlier studies of learning assessments within Home Economics in America. Then the method of analysis of the learning assessments which had the models for academic abilities as the framework was explored.2.Teen Guide, the Home Economics project evaluated as the most classic in America, was selected as the object of study and each Home Economics project from (1) the 1^<st> Edition (1961), (2) the 4^<th> Edition (1977), (3) the 6^<th> Edition (1985), and ep the 7^<th> Edition (1990), all with differing theories of Home Economics was analyzed.3.Challenges for the future were made clear by compiling and summarizing the learning assessments as well as the realization of the philosophy of Home Economics found in Teen Guides.
