中世日本の往復外交文書を古文書学的に理解するためには、明清代中国と朝鮮の公文書体系に対する理解が必要不可欠である。古文書学における方法論としては、①様式論、②機能論、③形態論、④伝来論があり、本研究においても、この4つの方法にもとづき中世日本往復外交文書と明清・朝鮮公文書を分析することになるが、とりわけ③・④については、現存する原本の調査が重要となる。それゆえ、国内外の史料所蔵機関に保管される史料の原本を可能なかぎり熟覧し、データを蓄積することを目指している。令和4年度の研究実績は以下のとおりである。【清・朝鮮公文書の原本調査】令和4年7月21日～24日の日程で清・朝鮮公文書（詔書・告身・諭帖・伝令・関・書契）の原本調査を実施した。調査先の機関と主な調査対象史料は、以下のとおりである。長崎県対馬歴史研究センター（小野家伝来告身2通、個人蔵告身3通）、佐賀県立名護屋城博物館（朝鮮国礼曹俘虜刷還諭告文1通、朝鮮王子臨海君順和君書状1通、釜山鎮水軍僉節制使関1通ほか）、九州国立博物館（萱島木兵衛受給告身1通・伝令1通・書契1通、通信使三使別幅1通、嘉慶帝詔書写1通）。上記の史料については、研究分担者4名（渡辺・須田・一瀬・川西）との協働により、①高精細撮影、②料紙の法量・厚さ・折幅の計測、③印郭の法量計測、④料紙の繊維の顕微鏡撮影を行うとともに、原本の観察にもとづく意見交換を行った。調査で得られたデータについては、研究代表者が整理し、分担者との共有を図った。【研究会の開催】令和5年3月29日～30日の日程で、研究チーム内部の研究会（於東京大学史料編纂所福武ホール会議室）を開催した。研究分担者全員の参加を得て、分担課題に関する構想報告、ならびに本研究課題の今後の方向性に関わる意見交換・情報共有を行った。

The research results for the fourth year of Reiwa are as follows. 【Investigation of original documents of Qing Dynasty and Joseon Dynasty】The schedule from July 21st to 24th of the 4th year of Reiwa Period is the investigation of the original documents of official documents of Qing Dynasty and Joseon Dynasty (edicts, confessions, edicts, decrees, customs, deeds). The investigation agency and the main investigation object are the historical materials and the following information. Research on the History of the Nagasaki Prefecture Horse Riders (Onoya's 2 personal reports, 3 personal reports), Saga Prefecture Nagoya Castle Museum (1 report of the Joseon State Priest's Return of Prisoners, Joseon Prince Rinkai Junjunka-kun) 1 pass for pleadings, 1 pass for the Busan Navy Control Envoy, 1 pass for the Kyushu National Museum (1 pass for the personal prosecution of Mubei in Kaishima, 1 pass for the order, 1 pass for written deeds, 1 pass for the correspondence envoy to the three envoys, and 1 pass for the imperial edict of the Jiaqing Emperor). The above mentioned historical materials are recorded, and the 4 researchers (Watanabe, Suda, Ichize, and Kawanishi) are responsible for the research, ① High-definition photography, ② The material and paper are of a certain standard and thickness.・Measurement of folded width, ③Measurement of method of sealing, ④Measurement of material and material, ④Microscope photography, original inspection, exchange of opinions, etc. The investigation was completed by the research team, the research representative was the organizer, and the contributor was shared by the project manager. [Opening reminder of the research meeting] The schedule for March 29th to 30th, Reiwa 5, and the internal research meeting of the Research Institute (in the Fukutake No. ル Conference Room of the Historic Compilation Institute of the University of Tokyo) will be held. All participants in the research project participate in the project, report on the concept of the shared project, exchange opinions on the future direction of the research project, and share information.
