①ハンセン病回復者宿泊拒否事件（2003年）に起因する差別文書のドキュメント分析と、ハンセン病家族訴訟（2019年判決）における原告陳述書のドキュメント分析を実施した。研究代表者の黒坂愛衣および研究分担者の金明秀と福岡安則は、「ハンセン病に係る偏見差別の解消のための施策検討会」内に設置された差別文書分析と陳述書分析ワーキングチームのメンバーであり、元データは同検討会より提供されたものである。差別文書および陳述書のいずれも、一つひとつの資料の意味の読み解きによる質的分析とは別に、ソフトウェアKH-Coderを使用した計量テキスト分析を行なったことに本研究課題の新規性がある。差別文書分析では(1)「見下し・嫌悪」「自粛強要」を合理化する「加害者への同情」、(2)「他者化」を結節点とした「非生産性」「不当利益」、(3)「経営論理」の欺瞞が明らかになった。また陳述書分析では、(1)差別の温床としての「近所」、(2)家族原告の孤立化、(3)差別による精神的被害としての「秘密」の重みが明らかになった。こうした分析結果は、同検討会の有識者部会・当事者市民部会に報告され、全体の報告書にも記載された。②研究メンバーによるオンライン研究会を11回開催し、ハンセン病問題に関する市民意識調査の質問紙の検討を重ねた。これをもとに、2022年2月、熊本市民および尼崎市民を対象とした「感染症に係る人権問題についての意識調査」を実施した。選挙人名簿からのランダムサンプリングを業者に委託して行ない、郵送法により合計で750サンプルを回収できた。調査結果の分析は次年度の実施となる。年度末には分析手法の研修を目的とした合宿研究会を実施した。③熊本県熊本市にてハンセン病家族当事者からの聞き取りを行なった。

The results of the analysis were recorded in the report of the same discussion meeting, the report of the concerned citizen meeting, and the report of the whole. (2) The research meeting will be held in 11 sessions, and the public awareness survey and inquiry paper related to the disease will be reviewed. In February 2022, Kumamoto citizens and Asaki citizens conducted a survey on the awareness of infectious diseases related to human beings.
