项目摘要

本研究の目的は下記の2点である。目的1：高齢期の感情調整機能が社会的つながり（頼れる人の数，友人の数，サポートの有無など）に及ぼす影響を縦断データを用いて検討する。目的2：高齢期の感情調整が社会的つながりの基盤である「他者への信頼」に及ぼす影響を生物学的要因（遺伝特性，ホルモン分泌量），心理的要因（記憶，実行機能，処理速度）をふまえた上で心理実験により明らかにする。目的1を検討するために，本年度は約2000名を対象とした質問紙による縦断調査を実施した。2023年度はこれらデータを用いて，感情調整が社会的つながりを予測するのか検討をおこなう。目的2については，他者への信頼にホルモン分泌が及ぼす影響を，高齢者および大学生各100名を対象とし検討した。ホルモンレベルと利他的行動の関係を検討するため、各年齢群について性別と性格をコントロール変数とした偏相関分析を実施した。若年成人群では、バソプレシンがボランティア頻度や臓器提供の意思と負の相関を示した。高齢者グループでは、バソプレシンとボランティア頻度の間に負の相関が見られた。同時に、オキシトシンは臓器提供の意欲と正の相関を示した。これらの結果は、バソプレシンとオキシトシンのホルモンレベルが利他的行動に関連することを示唆している。しかし、オキシトシンと利他的行動との間に関連が見られたのは高齢者のみであった。オキシトシンが利他的行動に及ぼす影響は年齢層によって異なり、年齢が上がるにつれてその影響は大きくなる可能性が示唆された。
