项目摘要

本年度は、高度情報化社会における「文化変容」の問題について、「間文化」「間社会」からの視点を中心に調査研究を行った。具体的な課題として、1.情報化がもたらす文化間・国際間のイメージ作用、および 2.情報化の進展にともなう「文化」の再編について現代日本と東アジアの実態を中心に研究を進めた。これまで行ってきた高度情報化社会における「文化複合」の実態研究を継続するとともに、本年度はとくに「イメージ複合」を取り上げ、マス・メディアにおける「異文化」イメージの研究を追究した。興味深い点は、文化に関する情報には、それが一つの文化から他の文化へと伝わっていく間に「変容」することがあらためて確認されたことである。この「情報変容」の問題は新たに浮かび上がった点である。個別文化要素の複合の分析には時間がかかるが、情報と文化との関係には複雑な屈折作用が働くことも次第に明らかとなった。マス・メディアと交通の発達が大量の情報の移転を容易にしていることは事実であるが、「文化情報」は大変選択的であり、選択主体としての「自文化」はやはり存在するように思われることが分かったのも、本年度の研究の収穫である。本年度は3回にわたる集中的な研究会合を開き、群主催の合同シンポジウムにも参画した。研究討議の成果として次のものがある。1.文化研究の立場から「情報化」「国際化」といった現象への理論的アプローチの検討が深まったこと 2.アジアの「情報化」「社会変容」についての新たな視角が提示されたこと 3.海外を含む多様な背景と、国外での研究実績を有する研究分担者による共同研究班によって現代日本社会および密接な関連を持つアジア社会との理論的な比較研究が軌道にのったこと。本年度は最終年度であることから、研究参加者から個別の成果発表に加え、研究報告書として研究図書を刊行する予定であり、現在執筆作業が進行中である。

This year, we will conduct research on issues related to "cultural change" in a highly information-based society, as well as on issues related to "interculture" and "intersociety." Specific topics: 1. Informatization, cultural and international relations; 2. Informatization, cultural and international relations; 3. Modern Japan, East Asia, and Central Research. This year's study on "cultural complex" in a highly information-based society will be carried out. The interest is deep, the culture is related to the information, the culture is related to the culture, and the culture is related to the culture. The problem of "information content" is new. The analysis of individual cultural elements is based on time, information and cultural relations. "Cultural information" is a large selection of information, a selection of subjects, and "self-culture" is an existence of information, and this year's research has been achieved. This year, there are three concentrated research meetings, and the group leaders urge the contract to participate in the project. The results of the study and discussion were discussed. 1. Cultural research stands from the perspective of "informatization" and "internationalization" to the theoretical discussion of the phenomenon of "informatization" and "social transformation" to the new perspective of "informatization" and "social transformation" to prompt "overseas" to include diverse backgrounds. Foreign research achievements include joint research courses on modern Japanese society and social cohesion, and comparative research on social theory. This year is the last year, the participants are invited to present their results, the research report is scheduled to be published, and the writing is in progress.
