I publish in the Scientific Report 7 studies on the following concepts :"Avant-garde" - this notion presupposed the historical conception of progress and the view regarding art as the representative high culture. The newness it claimed for was linked with the commercialism, and radically changed the being of art with its neglect of "metier", as to raise the re-definition of art."Newness/originality" - while the newness concerns perception, originality is the evaluative judgment on newness peculiar to the modern West.
