A Study on the Education of Democratic Citizenship in European Multicultural Society

欧洲国家有不同的population today. One of their educational objects is to cope with withthis multicultural situation It is make a democratic citizen from the diverse population that this multicultural situationmade of different background of religious，语言，life style and so on. The project of " The Education for Democratic Citizenship" is situated one ofthe main priority of the Council of Europe that was built on 1949 as a pan-欧洲international组织。The object of this program is to support The participant countries to attainre-integration of their diverse population into democratic citizen.As the last year of this grantedstudy,I made a final report based on the field research to this institution and analysis of the collecteddocuments during past three years.The main founding from this study is as bellow；1997年，democratic citizenship was founded in 1997 as a integral project of some formerprojects such as the field of intercultural education，人权education，and some other projects of field of education and human right, and so on nowit is in third phase of the project (2006-2009), taking over the first (1997-2000)，the second (2001-2004) and "the Year of Democratic Citizenship through Education" Democratic citizena model of the ideal human being in the multicultural society of the future Europe it will bemore and more urgent to accomplish this educational goal to European countries and at last，for Japanese society that will be diverse society than todayI pointed this project aiming to bring up children to democratic citizens is very suggestive to如何society,所以我认为这是必要的，以看到未来的教育政策of the Council of欧洲现在。
