A Study on the Intercultural Education in France

本研究的目的是获得法国“跨文化教育”的理论和实践知识。研究揭示了法国跨文化教育的一些特点，包括法国政府的以下政策。(1)这种教育的对象群体逐渐从外来务工人员的子女扩大到法国的所有儿童。现在，它的目的是教育所有的孩子在法国社会与外国人和另一个民族的合作和共生的技能。(2)根据外籍务工人员在法国的定居情况，有部分子女和父母希望获得法国国籍。配合这一运动，这种共生教育正逐渐改变其目的和内容，成为对法国国民的教育。这种趋势的结果是，很少有人考虑到这些孩子的种族和文化多样性。(3)法国跨文化教育政策具有双重维度。一种是旨在使所有具有不同文化和种族背景的人相互共生的教育。另一方面，它的目的是使法国民族。(4)欧洲国家加入欧盟的影响使得这些国家内部存在着许多差异，如民族性格、文化、语言等。如上所述，法国的跨文化教育有两个相反的维度。要对法国的这种“跨文化教育”形成充分的评价，我们必须考虑到欧洲的运动转向真正的欧盟。

The purpose of this study is to gain the theoretical and practical knowledge of 'the Intercultural Education' in France.The research has revealed some features of the intercultural education in France including French Government's policy as follows.(1) Target group of this education is gradually broadening from foreign migrant workers' children to all children in France. And now, its purpose is to educate all children a skill for cooperation and symbiosis with foreigner and another ethnic grope in French society.(2) According to the settle down of foreign migrant worker in France, there are some children and parent want gain French nationality. Cooperate with this movement, this education for symbiosis is gradually changing its purpose and contents, and to be education for French nationals. Results of this trends, there are few consideration about the ethnic and cultural diversity of these children.(3) There are double dimension in French education policy on intercultural education. One is a education that aims at symbiosis of all people who have different cultural and ethnic backgrounds each other.On the other hand, it aims at making French nation.(4) The impact of integrating european countries to European Union make sure that there are lots of differences within these countries, such as national character, culture, language and so on.As mentioned above, the intercultural education in France had tow opposite dimensions. To form full evaluation of this 'Intercultural education' in France, we has to regard European movements to shift real European Union.
