Research on effective health guidance method using home visiting in preventive health care activity

The purpose of this research is to clarify an effective health guidance method using home visiting in the contemporary society from the viewpoint of preventive health care activity.The characteristic of this research is focusing the home visiting by municipality and also the medical insurance agency. The following four investigations were done.Investigation 1 (the quantitative survey) :The purpose of this investigation is to find the actual conditions quantitatively of health guidance using home visiting by municipality from the annual report of Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.Investigation 2 (the qualitative survey) :The purpose of this investigation is to find the actual conditions qualitatively of health guidance using home visiting by medical insurance person in focusing National Health Insurance (NHI) agency.Investigation 3 (the case study) :The purpose of this investigation is to find the characteristic of the effective health guidance activities using home visiting in preventive health care.Investigation 4 (document investigation) :The purpose of this document investigation is to find the characteristic of outcomes of prevention with home visiting especially done in foreign countries.Conclusion :Effective health guidance method using home visiting were identified as follows : (1) making to function the health guidance using home visiting in a planned systematic system with continuous view and (2) having the strategy that effectively makes the feature of the health guidance using home visiting in the process of implementing the health care activities.
