The purpose of this study is to consider the housing and town communities to keep the culture ofraditional festival. The results are as following.1) In our research into the Johana Hikiyama Festival, it has been found that town modernization has changed the housing culture of traditional festival and town communities.2) On the other hand, local towns which keep traditional town houses and their streets intact, decorate them with Byobu (folding screen) or dolls displayed for the girls festival as tourist attractions to revitalize local communities.3) From the case study of Hino town, we found that many people thought it important to keep the traditional festival (Hino-Maturi) and its culture.4) It has also been found that such towns using the historical town houses and the housing culture as a part of the traditional festival have improved the community and culture as a whole.

本研究的目的是考虑住宅和城镇社区对节日文化的保持。研究结果表明：1）在对Johana Hikiyama节的研究中，我们发现城镇现代化改变了传统节日和城镇社区的住宅文化; 2）另一方面，保留传统城镇住宅和街道的地方城镇，用Byobu装饰它们（折叠屏幕）或娃娃显示为女孩节作为旅游景点，以振兴当地社区。3）从日野镇的案例研究，我们发现，许多人认为保留传统节日（日野祭）及其文化是重要的。4）我们还发现，将历史悠久的城镇房屋和住房文化作为传统节日的一部分使用的城镇，从整体上改善了社区和文化。
