This project seeks funding to support eligible open access publications at the University of Mannheim. The following goals are to be addressed: First, an overview of all funds used centrally and decentrally for publications at the University of Mannheim is to be obtained. Second, sustainable funding structures that cover the existing demand for open access publications at the University of Mannheim and ensure efficient management of the funds are to be established in the medium term. Third, funding acknowledgements in publications from third-party funding are to be implemented consistently, and the importance of this statement is to be made more apparent to scientists.
