项目摘要

平成8年度の重点研究「認知・言語の成立」の科研費による研究として、以下の3つのことを行った。(1)乳児Uの生後2年目・3年目のビデオ記録テープを逐語的に文字記録化する作業を引き続いて行った。この作業のために人件費を用いた。本年度は、重点「認知・言語」による研究の4年目にあたり、研究の総括年度にあたる。よって、この4年間に整理した観察データを総合して、「身振りと延滞模倣の縦断的発達」を新たな理論的パースペクティヴに置く理論的総括的研究を行った。日誌的な観察データから解明した″ふり″の発達や象徴能力の発達を、「ファンタジ-と現実」の認識の問題として広く理論的に位置づけ、「一人二役の会話」の観察データや「空想の遊びともだち」の諸研究や、「サンタクロース」に対する(筆者の)調査研究をも包括するスケールで、理論構成する総括的研究を行った。その成果が、単著『ファンタジ-と現実』(1996、金子書房)である。これはオリジナリティのあるユニークな″ふり″理論・シンボル論である。(2)この4年間観察を継続してきた就学前の自閉症の子どもたちの″ふり″の諸データを踏まえた上で、上述の書物『ファンタジ-と現実』の内容に自閉症論を新たに加味して理論的に書き改めたのが論文「乳児期の″ふり″の発達と心の理解」(心理学評論、1997.4月発刊の予定)である。(3)これまでの4年間の科研費で一部整理のついてきた筆者の日誌データを活用して、「身振りと延滞模倣の発達」に関する研究を、より広い「ファンタジ-と認識」の問題として深化させていくためのステップとして「子どもの夢」についての研究も行った。これは、今回の重点研究をさらに今後の研究へと発展させていくための媒介的研究である。その成果が単著『子どもと夢』(1996、岩波書店)である。
