项目摘要

(1)前年度に引き続き高樹文庫以外に所在する信由以下四代の編著書(写)・作成地図(写)とその伝来由緒について、富山県立図書館・金沢市立玉川図書館・神戸市立博物館・砺波郷土資料館・折橋家その他で実施し、その成果を昨年度調査分とともに楠瀬勝・野積正吉が所在目録にまとめた。(2)測量器具については、昨年度に全国博物館所蔵のその調査をアンケート方式で実施していたが、その所蔵概要と検討成果を整理して、今年度に科研資料Iとして渡辺誠・深井甚三が活字化した。(3)石黒信由の測量器具自体については、今年度の調査をトヨタコレクション・九州大学博物館ほかで実施し、その成果を楠瀬が「トヨタコレクションの『分間用器』について」にまとめ調査先へ提出した。信由考案測量器具の軸心磁石盤についてはその所在目録を渡辺誠が作成し、また信由の著作に載せられている測量器具についての検討成果を渡辺・野積がまとめ、さらに信由の測量術書の概要解明を行い、その成果の概略を川村博忠がまとめた。(4)信由の和算書・測量書の翻刻についても昨年に引き続き取組み、「町見台測高低法」(高樹文庫蔵)を吉田柳二が詳細な訳注解説を施して、科研資料IIとして翻刻した。また、吉田が昨年度に訳注解説を施した「象限儀蘭尺之法」(同前)は科研事務局へ翻刻出版の申請をしている。(5)絵図・地図の調査の課程で、明治初年に石黒信由の子孫が作製した維新政府へ提出した国絵図の下絵図・控図の存在を楠瀬・野積が確認したので新湊市博物館にてこの成果を中心にして『加賀藩の絵図展』を開催した。(6)今年度が最終年度のために、成果報告を明確な形で残すために成果報告書(A4版・全127頁)を刊行した。この報告書は前述した成果を主にして構成したものである。
