项目摘要

本研究班は、発達障害(特に幼児自閉症)教育・聴覚障害教育・視覚障害教育の三領域にまたがる研究者によって構成されている。コミュニケーション障害に関する共通の定義を求めたり、方法論を統一することは必ずしも容易ではないので、これらの基本的な課題については研究分担者会議の都度「勉強会」として行いながら徐々に詰めて行くこととし、主たる研究は各自が固有のテーマと方法によって行うこととした。本年度、新たに得られた知見の主なものは次の通りである。1.発達障害児のコミュニケーション指導においては、家庭訪問の意義が強調されねばならない。それは家庭環境をより詳細に把握した上で指導することの重要性以外に、訪問者が持ち込む教材や利用する日用品等をシグナルとして、両親が子供とのコミュニケーションに訪問者の機能を、常時利用することができるからである。2.聴覚障害児の言語力評価法のひとつとして、GAEL-Jの開発を始めたが、言語力の評価を実施する上で、考慮しなければならない聴覚障害児の特性と、発達障害児の特性との間には、多くの共通点があることが確認された。このテストを発達障害児にも実施したら、両者のコミュニケーションの特性が一部明らかになるであろう。3.発達障害児の教育相談場面の録画を、Human Ethologyの方法によって分析するのは、コミュニケーション研究法のひとつとして有効であろう。この方法を聴覚障害児や視覚障害児にも実施してみてはどうか。4.聴覚障害乳幼児の両親教育用プログラムは、親子の共感的関係に基礎を置く、総合的な性格のものでなければならない。この開発研究から、両親教育用ビデオ教材を作成する際の合理的観点が整理されつつある。
