项目摘要

本年度は、研究を進めていく中で『三国志演義』の簡本系テキストである『三国英雄志伝』が清代の出版文化・出版システムについてきわめて重要な問題を持っていることが次第に明らかになってきたため、主としてこれらを中心に研究を進めた。従来知られていなかった『三国英雄志伝』が上海図書館に四種(うち、六巻本二種、残本二種)、東京大学東洋文化研究所に一種、蔵されていることが分かった。これらの『三国英雄志伝』について複写を取り、精密に比較検討を行い、これら五種の版本の特徴・性質、その他の『三国志演義』諸本との相互関係について考察した。その結果、"偽毛宗崗本"とでもいうべき六巻本は数種類現存しているが、それらは必ずしも覆刻を繰り返して成立した関係にはないこと、東洋文化研究所蔵の継志堂本は楊美生本と比較的近い関係にあること、上海図書館蔵の残本二種は楊美生本・魏某本と近い関係にあるけれども、必ずしもそれらを直接の底本にしているのではないことが明らかとなった。本年度の研究における大きな成果は、次の点を明らかにしたことにある。『三国英雄志伝』系統の諸本は、多くが清代になってから、それも康煕年間以降、すなわち毛宗崗本が成立して以降の刊行である。毛宗崗本の流行は道光・咸豊年間以降であるならば、清代初・中期にもっとも流行していた『三国志演義』は『三国英雄志伝』なのである。そして清代以降成立した「三国志物語」作品は、多かれ少なかれ『三国志演義』からの影響を受けているのであるが、それら通俗文学作品に影響を与えた『三国志演義』の版本は必ずしも嘉靖本・余象斗本などの旧来の版本、あるいは毛宗崗本なのではなく、『三国英雄志伝』の系統に属する版本であった。
