项目摘要

13年度の実績を基礎にして、本年度は『三国志平話』の成立に関する問題を明らかにした。まず『三国志平話』と「三国志」物語を題材にした元雑劇との関係を検討した。その結果、物語上の設定が共通することがきわめて多く、両者に深い関係があることがわかった。さらに『三国志平話』の文章中に見られる固有名詞の表記の誤りに着目し検討を行った。その結果、表記の誤りは、単に字形の相似によるもののみならず、北方方言の発音の影響を受けていることが分かった。これらのことから、『三国志平話』は福建地方、すなわち南方地域において出版されたものであるが、その内容は北方文化の影響を強く受けていることが明らかとなった。続いて『三国志平話』と『三分事略』を詳細に比較検討した。その結果、版式は同じであっても、文字の異同はとても多いこと、それは単純に正字が俗字に、あるいは俗字が別の俗字になっているだけではなく、時に文意の変わる文字の異同があること、さらに『三国志平話』より『三分事略』の方が優れていると思われる個所もあることが分かった。このことから、『三分事略』は別のテキストの覆刻本であることには違いないが、単純に『三国志平話』の覆刻本ではないこと、同様の版式の本がたくさんあって、その一つが『三国志平話』となり、また別の一つが『三分事略』となって、現代に伝わったのであることが明らかになった。以上のことをふまえて、「『三国志平話』と『三分事略』」というタイトルで論文を執筆中であり、まもなく公刊予定である。
