我々の文化・社会の基盤となるヒトの社会性には広がりがあり，社会的環境に影響されうる．本研究では，社会性が異なるとされる自閉スペクトラム症（ASD）児者ならびにウィリアムス症候群（WS）児者を対象に，社会的認知特性が文化的背景によりどのように異なるのかを，質問紙・実験心理学的手法を組み合わせて多角的に解明する．本年度は，研究計画のとおり日本における両群の社会的特性がどのように異なるかを明らかにするために，養育者を対象とした社会応答性尺度ならびに感覚特性質問紙調査，常同行動質問紙調査のデータをとりまとめ，相違点について分析を行った．結果，ASDとWSにおいて社会的動機づけスコアはWS群でASD群において有意差を認めたものの，社会的気づき，社会的認知はASDとWSで有意差はみられなかった．また，ASDとWSで異なる発達変化がみられた．感覚過敏特性についてもASDとWS群で類似する結果がみられたものの，感覚過敏スコアについてはWS群においてASD群よりも有意に高かった．また，アイトラッカーを用いた注視実験におけるデータ解析を進め，両群の注視行動の相違，発達による変化について解析を進めている．
