The fund is a central instrument of the Open Access activities at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and is administered by the library. The library is responsible for advising authors, processing applications, managing funds, designing appropriate workflows and setting up a service for the green road to Open Access. The library is taking measures to further develop IT-supported, legally secure procedures with minimal bureaucracy for the promotion of OA publications, and to continuously improve cost monitoring and services for researchers at the university.
