A triple quadrupole LC/MS system is to be purchased for the quantitative determination and analysis of small organic molecules and highly charged molecules (e.g. nucleotides such as dinucleoside polyphosphates, modified RNA building blocks), in part in complex mixtures of cell lysates. The requested MS system is to replace the existing system, which has become very error-prone and maintenance-intensive over the years. The requested instrument system is intended to upgrade the methods performed at the Department of Chemistry for mass spectrometry-based analysis from complex mixtures.
