我向日本164个社会教育和娱乐设施发放了木工社会教育问卷,调查现状。我得到了很多结果如下。设立这些设施的目的如下:体验活动场所占20.8%,木材和木工推广占20.0%,地方及其林业推广占16.0%,木材和木工有用信息提供占12.8%。在这些设施中通过木工进行学习的目的如下:了解木材和木工20.1%,父母和孩子之间的沟通,交朋友和增进人与人之间的友谊20.1%,爱好和娱乐19.3%,掌握木工技能14.2%。木工课的学习者和参与者是:成人29.9%,小学生21.4%。由木工活动产生的项目如下:小木制日用品50.3%,玩具、木制拼图和木制工艺品24.1%。这些项目显示出很高的百分比。而对木工工艺要求较高的木制大型家具则低至9.4%。木工设备和活动管理中存在的问题主要表现在以下几个方面;(1)设施设备不够,一个木材场和展示区不够;(2)木工指导员少;(3)未来在一个管理上前景不好,一个规划力不充分。阐明了发展木工社会教育体系的基本结构和五要素思想。首先是明确学习目的。第二是学习的条件。如学习对象的分类、学习人数、学习场所、木工设备等。三是学习内容。例如,学习者学习什么木工技能?四是项目决策。五是教员和助教的决定。这五个要素需要像链条的连接一样组织起来。
英文摘要
I sent out questionnaires on woodworking social education to 164 Japanese social education and recreational facilities to investigate the present situation. I got a lot of results as follows.The purpose of establishment of these facilities is as follows ; the place of activity by experience is 20.8%, spreading of wood and woodworking is 20.0%, promotion of local region and its forestry is 16.0%, giving of wood and woodworking useful information is 12.8%.The purpose of leaning through woodworking in these facilities is as follows ; to understand of wood and woodworking 20.1%, to communicate between parent and child and to make friends and promote friendship among people 20.1%, for hobby and recreation 19.3%, to master skills of woodworking 14.2%. The learner and participant of woodworking class are as follows ; adults 29.9%, elementary school students 21.4%. The projects which are produced by woodworking activity are as follows ; small wooder daily necessities 50.3%, toy, wooden puzzle and wooden art and craft 24.1 %.These projects show high percentage. But the wooden large-scale furniture which requires high woodworking skill to make shows low 9.4%.The problems in management of facility and activity of woodworking show as follows ; (1)facility and equipment are not enough, and a lumber yard and a display area are not enough, (2)few woodworking instructors, (3)future prospects in a management are not good, and a planning power is not full.The basic structure and five elements of idea to develop the woodworking social education system were clarified. First is clearness of learning purpose. Second is condition of learning. For example, classification of learner, number of learner, learning place and equipment of woodworking. Third is contents of learning. For example, what woodworking skill do learners study? Fourth is decision of project. Fifth is decision of instructor and assistant. These five elements need to be organized like a connection of chain.
