项目摘要

前年度までに十分進められたスアレス形而上学の分析を用いながら、その後のスコラ学における超越範疇（transcendentia）の変遷を調査することで、超越論的（transzendental）哲学の生成要素を抽出する作業を行った。超越範疇に、それが不可避的に帯びる非十全性という性格を付与し明示化する点において、スアレスの超越範疇論は際立っていた。ここから本研究者は、彼によって与えられたこの新たな規定が超越範疇の認識論化を促し、スアレスにおいてはなお存在論の枠組みのもとで語られていた超越範疇という概念が、その後のとりわけカロフ等に代表されるグノストロギアの系譜に位置する者たちによって徐々に認識論の枠の中で実質的な意義を持つようになり、そのことによって形而上学の対象であるところの「存在である限りの存在」を明らかにするという存在論的な領域での位置価を徐々に失っていったのではないか、という仮説のもとでスアレス以降のスコラ学に関する文献の分析を行った。上記のスコラ哲学を進める上で副産物として得られた幾つかの知見を用いながら、スピノザ形而上学の研究を進めた。『エチカ』全体をユークリッド幾何学のようにリニアに読むのではなく、後の定理によって鍵概念が展開され変換されることによって前の定理の証明が補完され更なる展開を被るというレトロスペクティヴな観点から読解を行うという方法のもとで、本年度は（ａ）スピノザにおける想像力の自立性という論点を展開することで、超越範疇の批判と対になる彼特有の共通概念への想像力の寄与分を位置付け直す試みを行い、（ｂ）さらに、今日にいたるまで決定的な影響を持ち続けている60年代から70年代にかけて行われたフランスのスピノザ哲学研究を問い直すという目的のもと、『エチカ』における否定性の問題を、とりわけ彼の用いる特異な充足理由律に着目することで分析した。
