本研究は、アリストテレス-スコラ的な類種概念による秩序から別の秩序への転換という視点を軸に、デカルト存在論の特質を描くことを目的とする。本年度は以下の研究を実施した。1/存在論を形作る概念枠組みの変化を研究するため、前年度に引き続き主にスアレス、エウスタキウスらデカルト以前の近世スコラ哲学者との比較を行った。スアレスの区別論において、他の諸々の区別を三つの区別のみに帰着させるという構造化がなされ、この構造化・単純化を引き継いだのがデカルトであることを明らかにした。エウスタキウスにおいてはこのような構造化がなされておらず、デカルトのものと異なっている。以上の系譜関係は認められつつも、普遍自体の考察を素通りし、区別の徴表の議論を実体論に先立たせ、その前提とさせるデカルトの議論構成において、スアレスの体系構成の換骨奪胎が起こっており、存在論の議論構成においてもドラスティックな変化が起きたことを明らかにし、以上の成果を日本哲学会において発表した。2/デカルトの強い影響を受けた近世スコラ哲学者であるクラウベルクの検討、およびアルノー、ニコルの『ポールロワイヤル論理学』の検討を行った。クラウベルクにおいて、アリストテレスのカテゴリー論批判の議論とデカルト哲学の摂取が結びつく次第を検討し、また、『ポールロワイヤル論理学』において、オルガノン的枠組みとデカルト哲学の概念群がどのように架橋されているのかを検討した。その結果、デカルト哲学の概念群が、オルガノン的枠組みの一部を刷新し、後の哲学者の体系構成に変化を与えるものであったことを明らかにした。3/デカルトの存在論に関するマリオン、クルティーヌらの先行研究を整理し、デカルト哲学の体系構成の検討を行った。また、本有性、明晰判明性等々の概念群の関係を整理することで、観念の理論がデカルト存在論とどのように関係するかという問題の一端を明らかにした。
