项目摘要

本研究の目的は、グローバル資本主義が抱える様々な問題性に対処しうる新たな構想として、コスモポリタニズムが如何なる意義・可能性を有しているかについて明らかにすることにある。この目的を達成すべく、第三年度もいくつかの観点から複数の研究を進めてきた。その中でも本年度特に重視していたのは、1990年代以降のコスモポリタニズム研究、新しいコスモポリタニズム（new cosmopolitanism)に関する理論的検討である。コスモポリタニズムの起源は古代ギリシャまで遡るとも言われるが、高度にグローバル化し、相互依存が深化した世界を解釈するための理論として、1990年代以降再び注目を集めてきた。こうした動きはしばしばと「新しいコスモポリタニズム」と呼ばれ、社会学に留まらず、人類学や政治哲学、政治学、カルチュラル・スタディーズといった幅広い分野から関心を集めてきた。当該年度はこうした新しいコスモポリタニズムの議論、特に社会学的なコスモポリタニズムに関する包括的な再検討を行う中で、そこで一体何が問われ、問題化されてきたのかについて明らかにしてきた。この研究成果については、日本社会学会、カルチュラルタイフーンといった国内学会、そして国際学会、IFSSO（International Federation of Social Science Organizations）にて報告を行ってきた。さらに2016年度にはその内容の一部が編著論文として収録される予定となっている。

The purpose of this study is to explore the implications and possibilities of the new hypothesis on the problematique of capitalism. This goal was achieved, and the third year of research was carried out. This year, special attention has been paid to the study of the theory of the decline in the 1990s and the new cosmopolitanism. The origin of the world is ancient, highly interdependent, and highly focused. "The New Society" is a popular topic in sociology, anthropology, political philosophy, political science, culture, culture. When the year is new, the discussion of social issues, especially sociological issues, includes the re-discussion of social issues, the integration of social issues, and the development of social issues. The results of this research were reported by the Japanese Society of Social Sciences, the National Society of Social Sciences, the International Federation of Social Science Organizations (IFSSO). For the year 2016, a part of the content of the paper was compiled and recorded.
