保護者であれば誰しも体験する子育てに関する行政サービスや医療支援は、制度や手続きが複雑で利用者にやさしい設計であるとは言い難い。 さらに、紙媒体での提出書類や、役所の開庁時間に合わせたサービス運用など、子育て支援のDX化の動きは鈍い。コロナ禍も追い討ちをかけ、 従来のやり方では乳幼児を抱える保護者や働きながら子育てする保護者への負担が大きい。 そこで、本研究は、デザイン手法を用いて行政の妊娠・子育て支援分野における新たな子育て支援DXツールを開発することを目指す。今年度は日本の行政が提供する政策と実際に提供されている子育て支援サービスについて文献調査を行い、国際学会International Association of Societies of Design Research 2023へ投稿した。さらに、日本の自治体が取り組んでいる子ども・子育て支援のツールについての調査研究とフィンランドの子育て支援の課題についての調査研究の2稿を国際学術誌Journal of Design Researchへ投稿した。これらはいずれも査読中である。人口減少を背景にこれからの未来の子育て支援を考える上でこれから家族を持つ若者、妊娠者、子育て中の家族等への質的調査（アンケート調査とヒアリング調査）を行うための研究設計を行なった。DXはありたい未来をつくるための手段と言えるが、その前段階として子育てにおいてどのような未来が求められているのだろうか。その根源的問いに対する答えを探るための文献調査を行ない、質的調査のためのツールを構築している。
