In order to perform a retina detachment surgery operation, it's important to know the fundus morphology before operation. Usually, 2 kinds of ultrasnic methods are used, the first one is the serial horizontal scanning, the second one thespiral scanning. But the first one is not very accurate and the second one is expensive. Therefore, we developed the rotating scanning method which is more accurate, cheaper and user friendly.The system consists of a camera, an ultrasonic device and a micreocomputer which can store 6 pictures at a time Using the display, the doctor can imp rove the quality of the image, before the data processing.From the original 6 pictures, the computer creates a 3 dimentional image and calculates the ratio of subretinal fluid to vitreou and the volume of vulvus.55 surgical operations of the rhegmhtgenous peripheral type for retinal detachment were performed according to this methods. After primary use, 96% of the results were successfull, and 100% after finac cure.This system can be applied to other fields, in addition more complex shapes can be measured and processed, by changing the software.From now on, we intend to make the use of the system easier and to improve it's accuracy.
为了进行视网膜脱离手术,术前了解眼底形态是很重要的。超声检查常采用两种方法,一种是连续水平扫描,另一种是螺旋扫描。但是第一个不是很准确,第二个很贵。本系统由摄像机、超声仪和微机组成,可同时存储6幅图像,医生在进行数据处理前,可通过显示器提高图像质量,从原始的6幅图像中,计算机生成三维图像,计算视网膜下液与玻璃体的比值及外阴体积。初步使用后,成功率达96%,最终治愈率达100%,该系统可推广应用于其它领域,并可通过修改软件实现对更复杂形状的测量和处理,今后将进一步提高系统的使用方便性和精度。
