THE STUDY OF TRADITIONAL ARCHITECTURE AT SETONAIKAI AREA

At Setonaikai area, there are many medieval temple buildings, and lot of them are called Setyuu style, to consist of two parts, Seidou and Raidou.On that occasion it is too difficalt to put order structural member. At the end of Heianjidai, Mikkyou-honndo to consist of Seidou and Raidou, design of exterior was not inorder to interior. At medieval buildings of Mikkyou-Hondo had a special style, Hisasi and Tenjyou style, so Kumimono of outside gaave order to interior design The typical building of this style was Myooin-hondo at Hirosima. In this occasion, it was difficslt to use exterior fine Hutatesaki or Mitesaki-Kumimono. But it appered in Syoujyouin-Hondo or Kakurinji-Hondo.In this study I established that on Setonaikai area, a lot of Setyuuyou Hondou buildings was in order to examine Tokyou's lay up.
