Analysis of Food Demand by Age Sex.

本研究利用日本首相府的“家庭收支调查”，对日本近年来的食品需求进行了分析，根据年龄和性别，运用线性回归模型对每个家庭成员的食品需求量进行了估算，发现：1. 20- 40岁的妇女对大米的需求量正在下降，但年轻男女的需求量与以前一样多。2.每个家庭成员，特别是年轻男女，对牛肉和鸡肉的需求量越来越大。3.像火腿、香肠和咸肉这样的肉类产品主要是年轻男女的需求。4.像黄油和奶酪这样的奶制品主要是中年妇女的需求。

Recent food demand in Japan is analyed using "Family Income and Expenditure Survey" ( Prime Minister's Office, Japan ).We estimated the amount of food demanded by each household menber according to his age and sex, applying the linear regression models and find:1. The amount of rice demanded by women aged 20--40 is decreading, but the young men and women have demanded as much rice as before. 2. Much more amount of beef and chiken are demanded by every household members, especially by young men and women. 3. Meat proucts like as ham,sausages and bacon are demanded mainly by young men and women. 4. Milk products like as butter and cheese are demanded mainly by middle aged women.
