项目摘要

1.プログラム言語LISPが帰納函数の理論に裏づけられて設計されたものであることは周知であるが、帰納函数の理論が自然数の函数などに関しては半世紀にわたって詳細にかつ精密に研究されているのにもかかわらず、LISPに関しては、実用的なLISPシステムはもとより、純LISPに限っても、理論的研究は未だ十分になされていない。研究代表者永島は、LISPの函数についての諸概念と自然数の帰納函数についての諸概念との関係を、まず純LISPの場合について考察し、また新たな代数的構造の導入によって一般の場合についても解明するための手がかりを得た。この問題は今後実験的研究と理論的研究とをさらにすすめてゆく必要がある。研究成果の一部は論文「言語LISPにおける帰納函数(1)」として発表する予定である。2.分担者山崎は、オメガ・オートマトンの受理条件とオメガ言語の分類に関する以前からの研究をさらに発展させて、オメガ・オートマトンの新しい形の受理条件を考察した。3.Leech格子とConway群についての研究の一環として、分担者山田は、デデキントのエータ函数から導かれるエータ積についてその乗法性を考察した。とくに、次数24の一般置換のうち多項式のframe shapeとよばれる約十一万六千個のものについて、電子計算機をもちいてエータ積の乗法性を調べた。4.分担者宮地は、擬微分作用素の表象がある種の不等式をみたす場合について、その作用素の空間【L^p】やハーディ空間における有界性を具体的に考察した。5.その他、代表者および分担者は、それぞれの専攻分野の視点から、計算機による実験的研究と理論的研究とを継続している。また他大学の研究者との研究交流をも行った。
