Using the Hokuriku region as a model case, sociolinguistic field research was carried out with the aim of identifying historical changes in treatment expressions in Japanese dialects.The findings of the research are as follows.1. Prior to the fieldwork, a new comprehensive bibliography for sociolinguistic research in Japan was compiled.2. A historical description of the language life and idiolect of one individual female speaker born (in 1924) in the Hokuriku region was completed.3. Transcription data was compiled from tape recordings of the discourse of several young and elderly Hokuriku region informants.

本研究以日本北陆地区为典型个案，通过社会语言学田野调查，对日本方言中的“对待”词语的历史变迁进行了研究，结果如下：1.在田野调查之前，一个新的全面的参考书目在日本的社会语言学研究。完成了对一位出生于北陆地区（1924年）的女性的语言生活和个人风格的历史描述。转录数据是从北陆地区几位年轻人和老年人的谈话录音中汇编而成的。
