Studies with Promotion of Human Genome Programe

为了促进日本的人类基因组计划，我们设立了5个委员会，以审查日本基因组计划的最新进展，并提出未来人类基因组研究发展所需的建议。为了刺激目前正在日本进行的基因组相关研究，组织了以下小组研究；(1)人类染色体的物理图谱，特别是3、11、21号染色体。(2) cDNA分析以了解基因：开发高质量cDNA文库的制备、测序和定位方法。(3)改进DNA切割、片段分离技术。(4)大规模信息学：组织本领域的研究人员进行协调、合作。(5)复杂基因组开创性研究模式生物分析。

To promote the human genome programe in Japan, we set up five Committees for reviewing the state-of-the-art of the genome project in Japan, and for giving proposals needed for future development of human genome researches.To stimulate the genome-related researches that are now going on in Japan, the following group researches were organized ; (1) Physical mapping of human chromosomes, especially chromosomes 3, 11, 21. (2) cDNA analyses for understanding genes : develop methods for preparing high quality cDNA library, sequencing and mapping. (3) Improving techniques for DNA cleavage, separation of fragments. (4) Large scale informatics : Organizing researchers in this field for co-ordination, collaboration. (5) Analyses of model organisms for pioneering researches a complex genomes.
