项目摘要

1.伝統的防災技法の収集相隣環境に関わる伝統的防災技法の収集を防風、防火、防水のそれぞれの対策にさけ、文献研究及び現地調査により試みた。文献研究では、第一法規出版刊行の「日本の民族」(全47巻)及び第一法規出版刊行の「図説・日本の町並み」(全12巻)を原資料とし、そのなかに記載されている技法を抽出し、デ-タベ-ス化して整理した。現地調査では、上記文献調査で抽出した技法のうち、典型的な屋敷林、連続蔵、防火用水路の3つについて、島根、静岡、北海道に赴き、現地での実測調査と文献収集をおこなった。その結果、伝統的防災技法は、家屋構造に関するもの、敷地構成に関するもの、地域形成に大別されること、またコミュニティル-ルや建築様式として、慣習化され文化化されることがあきらかになった。さらに、伝統技法のなかで機能の複合性のあるものが生命力を持ち、また伝統技法には地域性や歴史性のあることが明らかになった。2.相隣環境の防災基準化収集した事例等を参考にし、樹木やオ-プンスペ-ス、さらには蔵などの個々のエレメントについて、コンピュ-タ-シミュレ-ションを用いて、その風や熱の遮断効果を算定し、伝統的技法の有効性を確認するとともに、設計基準となるその必要量の試算を試みた。その結果、連続性、重合性、文脈性のある構成手法ほど有効であることが明らかになり、また在来構法の木造住宅でも優れた防災性能を確保しうることが明らかになった。
