项目摘要

自分で、課題の制約や条件を考慮し、自分なりのプランを立て、そのプランに従って行動し、その逐行過程をモニタ-し、必要に応じてプランや解決方略を修正したり変更するといった自己修正活動に関する知識やスキルの獲得は、効果的に学習を展開する上で極めて重要である。特に、“自己教育力の育成"といった観点からいっても、プランニング能力とモニタ-能力はその中心的核になるものである。中でも,新たな状況に如何に既有の知識やスキルを巧く利用していくかの適応的プランニング能力は極めて大切である。本研究は、このような視点のもとに、適応的プランニング能力を発達的に診断し、将来的にはその能力開発モデルを構築することを目的とした。目的を達成するにあたって、次の二つの観点からの、調査、実験を行なった。第一の調査では、日常生活や学校教育の中でのプランやプランニングの役割や意義について、子どもはどのように理解しているか,また実際にどのように計画的に行動しているか,自分自身が行動の主体になった意志決定場面をどの程度経験しているかなど,プランニング行動についての生態学的な側面を発達的に分析した。その結果、発達と共に(1)プランの重要性を理解するようになる、(2)外乱が生じる可能性を考慮したプラン設定が可能になり、その結果、プランが複雑になり、枝別れ的なものが見られるようになる、(3)状況に応じて、先行プランや状況依存的プランの使い分け方の重要性を意識するようになる、ことが分かった。第二の実験では、一定の限られた時間(30分)、異なる技能を要する複数の課題(全体を完成させて始めて得点が得られるリスキ-の高い課題と部分的完成でも得点が得られるよりリスキ-の低い課題)、課題遂行に必要な自分の知識や技能との間の関係を、どのように関連づけながらプラン設定し、課題解決していくか、その変化過程を分析した。その結果、発達と共に、(1)課題の複雑さに応じた適切な時間配分が可能になる、(2)自分の失敗を次なる場面に適切に利用出来るようになる、(3)プラン遂行でのモニタリングが臨機応変になる、ことがわかった。なお、このような知見を踏まえてのモデル開発は将来の課題として残された。
