项目摘要

各分担者は上記研究課題のもとにそれぞれの分野において、熱心に研究を進めて以下のような成果をあげている。研究代表者水谷は従来より研究してきた葉層構造の特性類に関連して多様体の微分同相群における群コサイクルをうまく記述することに成功してその結果を「Characteristic Classes of Foliated bundles」なる標題で論文にまとめ発表予定である。分担者木村真琴は熊本工大の前田定広氏との共同研究の成果を論文として発表した。その内容は複素射影空間内における実超曲面であり、そのshape operatorが構造ベクトル場〓方向に平行であるようなものの局所合同類を決定したものである。次に分担者長瀬正義は、複素射影空間に埋めこまれた特異代数曲線上に標準的リ-マン計算から定義されるGaussーBonnet operator D=d+δの閉拡張Dについて研究し、その作用素Dの指数を計算した。これらの結果は、「GaussーBannet operator on Singular Algebraic Curves」なる表題で論文にまとめられ出版予定である。さらに長瀬はSpin^c構造と平行して考えられるSpin^g構造の研究を精力的に進め現在その成果を論文にまとめる作業を行っている。この研究はtwistor理論とも関連が深くこれからの進展が大いに期待される。さらに分担者酒井文雄は平面曲線に関する研究を続け、平面曲線の特異点が満たすべき条件について調べ、「Sing wlaritiesof Plane Curves」の表題で論文を出版予定である。

The author of this paper, Mizutani, has studied the relationship between the characteristic classes of foliar structures and the differential homogeneous groups of polyhedra.
