项目摘要

本研究は特に老人医療に着目し,人口構造の高齢化による患者数の増加や疾病構造の変化,在宅介護の推進などの社会福祉政策の影響などを考慮して,高齢化社会に向けた動的な地域医療資源の配分の見直しを目的としている.このため平成3年度は,対象地域における社会経済データなど基礎的資料の収集・整理とともに,要介護高齢者の増加は入院医療の需要に影響を与えるであろうという視点のもとに,福祉需要量算定のための世帯類型モデルを開発した.平成4年度においては,これに引き続き入所施設・在宅介護との分担率の推定,高齢者数の予測に基づく入院患者数の推定,病類別患者数の推定をおこなった.これら条件となる諸変数の変化に基づき施設需要がどのように変化するかを,施設選択モデルによって推定した.この結果,高齢化の進行による地域医療需要の地理的分布の動向をモデルにより予測することが可能となった。
