本研究では,ある次数d_1の線形回帰モデルを仮定するが,真の応答関数がより高次d_2(d_2>d_1)の線形回帰式である可能性がある場合を取り上げ,因子の次数d_2の効果が存在しても,その存在に対して頑健性がある多応答曲面計画として次の事を行った.(1)多応答曲面計画の評価尺度として,単一応答曲面計画の場合に用いられるIntegrated Biasを一般化し,Average Integrated Bias,ならびに,Max Integrated Biasを導き出した.(2)全ての応答変数について,真の応答関数が同一の因子で同一の次数の多項式で表現され,さらに,頑健性を考えるべき次数が全ての応答変数について同一である場合について次のことが成立することを導き出した.(1)Average Integrated Bias(Max Integrated Bias)を最適化する多応答曲面計画は,ある1つの応答変数についてIntegrated Biasを最小化する応答曲面計画に等しい.さらに,ハードウエアと既存のソフトウエアを購入し,数値的検討を行ない,単一応答曲面計画でいわれている性質が,多応答曲面計画でもほぼ成り立つことを示した.(3)(2)の仮定の一部を外した場合,すなわち,それぞれの応答変数によって,用いる因子,真の応答関数の次数が異なる場合について,Average Integrated Bias,ならびに,Max Integrated Biasを最適化する多応答曲面計画について考察を行った.この場合には,ある1つの応答変数についてIntegrated Biasを最小化する応答曲面計画が,Average Integrated Bias(Max Integrated Bias)を最小化するものにはならないことを示した.この場合には,核となる因子とその次数をしかるべき方法で定義すればよいと考えられるが,未だに明確な形では結論が得られていない.また,数値的な検討を行ったところ,この定義をうまく行えば頑健性がある多応答曲面計画が得られるという見通しは得た.なお,(3)について明確な結論が得られたところで投稿を行う予定である.
