The development of a group-ware for managing virtual facilities on the computer network for the decentralized delivery of public community services

为了利用信息网络技术提高居家养老服务水平，提出了一种协同工作环境下的群件系统。首先，我们对某养老院的工作人员及其沟通网络进行了调查。利用这些信息，我们开发了一个数据库。然后，构建了一个名为“虚拟养老院”的群件系统。为了构建这个系统，我们使用了一个由计算机网络连接的养老院的比喻。通过这个网络，家庭帮佣、护士和社会工作者（家庭照顾服务提供者）以及他们的客户可以建立一个共同的数据库，并通过互联网使用可视电话和电子信息相互沟通。最后，一家养老院的一些工作人员评估了我们的系统。他们的意见是，虚拟养老院系统具有保存和整合他们共同数据的优势。尽管如此，人们还是提出了一些担忧：复杂的用户界面、不够快的网络速度、侵犯隐私以及不明确的成本负担。

In order to improve home-care services to the elderly using an information network technology, a group-ware system for the collaborative work environment is proposed.First, we carried out an investigation about members of staff and the communication network between them at a certain nursing home. Using this information, we developed a database.Then, a group-ware system called "Virtual Nursing Home" was constructed. To build this system, we used a metaphor of a nursing home, linked by a computer network. Through this network, home helpers, nurses and social-workers (home-care service providers) as well as their clients are able to build a common database and communicate with each other using a videophone and electronic messages through the Internet.Finally, some staff members of a nursing home evaluated our system. Their opinion was that the Virtual Nursing Home system has the advantage of holding and integrating their common data. Nevertheless several points of concern were raised : a complex user-interface, a not-fast-enough network speed, an invasion of privacy and an unclear burden of the cost.
